Congregational Care oversees many of the church functions we all encounter in our lives, including hospital and nursing home visits, and funerals. If you have a need in these areas, please contact our office by phone at 601-853-LIFE
Anyone may attend and participate in a prayer service. We welcome you at our next scheduled prayer service.
The bereavement ministry is a special group of caring individuals who make themselves available to provide meals for families who are experiencing the loss of a loved one. As a church family we try to provide a minimum of three meals to the family. If you are a cook and would like to give your time and energy to preparing a meal, or a part of a meal for a family, we need you. If you are not a cook, and would like to be available when needed to give a special offering to assist us in providing meals, we need you. If you would like to be among those individuals who facilitate delivering and serving the meals, we need you. To offer your services, contact the main office at 601-853-Life
Christ Life Highlands is a place to worship- to belong- to grow – to serve. Part of serving, is taking care of the unique needs of our Christ Life family. That is where our Benevolent Team comes into focus. Sometimes we need someone to run errands for someone who is homebound because of illness. There may be a widow who needs assistance with some minor repairs at her home. Sometimes there is someone who is home for several weeks recovering from a surgery and would just enjoy a short visit from a Christ Life family member. Whatever you can do, there is someone in the Christ Life family who needs you. If you’ll ask, “What can I do?” we’ll match what you can do with someone who needs you!
